I love you, Sussanne!

This was not said by Hrithik Roshan to his wife at his upcoming dance show. But by a contestant from Kolkata!

A Kolkata resident made a rather unconventional request of the judges during the recent auditions for Just Dance.

He said he was there only to meet Sussanne Roshan. The contestant further added that he loved her!
Incidentally, her husband Hrithik judges the show.

Just for her
Says an insider, "Sunil Chaudhury of Kolkata is in love with Duggu's wife Sussanne and auditioned, hoping to meet her. Farah called up the star wife and made her talk to Sunil." On hearing this, Hrithik was amused to no end.

There's a reason!
Sunil apparently told the judges in attendance Farah Khan and Vaibhavi Merchant: "Sussanne mein bhi kuch baat hain na, aakhir Hrithik ne unse shaadi kari."

Only fan
Farah says, "We shot in a huge auditorium at Science City in Kolkata. More than 3,000 people turned up. Sunil was the only fan of Duggu's wife."

Did Hugh Jackman come between SRK, Hrithik dosti?

Hrithik Roshan and wife Sussanne weren't invited for King Khan's impromptu party for Hugh Jackman

B-Town is abuzz about the dosti mein daraar between Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan. And Hugh Jackman's to blame!

Apparently, Duggu and Sussanne are miffed with SRK and Gauri for not inviting them to the bash at Mannat, held especially for the X-Men star.

The party was an impromptu affair post the FICCI Frames event. Khan's pals made a dash to Mannat immediately after. The Roshans, notably, were absent despite being close friends with SRK and his begum.

It came as a big surprise to those present given that the couples are almost always seen at each other's parties.

Says a Bandra source, "The Roshans, it appears, were sullen at being left out of the revelry." The story doesn't end there.

Two nights later, the Roshans held a bash for a high-end luxury brand. It was a planned event with several B-Town folk in attendance. The Khans were not extended an invitation. Tit for tat?

Adds the source, "The Roshans claimed that the event was only for few close friends. But SRK and his gang who were present for Jackman's party were left out." Clearly, bruised egos at work.

The stars remained unavailable for comment.

Hrithik's hero: Rishi Kapoor

Hrithik Roshan finds inspiration in the unlikeliest of persons

Rishi Kapoor has found an admirer in his Agneepath co-star Hrithik Roshan.

The two have been shooting high-octane action sequences for the Karan Johar production for two weeks now at a mill in central Mumbai. When Rishi bounced back after a seemingly bad accident, he won the respect of the younger star.

A source dishes the details, "In one scene, Kapoor gets punched by a junior artiste. He fell, landing heavily on his back. He was obviously hurt.

HR and director Karan Malhotra rushed to his side to make sure he was fine. Hrithik even insisted on calling a doctor."

They were stunned when the plump actor got up, nonchalantly brushed himself off and continued shooting as if nothing had happened.

Hrithik even remarked, "Hats off to you, Chintu uncle! I could never have managed what you did today.' He later told friends that his admiration grew for the veteran actor that day."

Bad fall

Duggu confirms, "Chintu uncle has always been a source of inspiration for me. And he continues to inspire. I was amazed at his level of strength and fitness while shooting the action sequence.

He took some bad falls and was bruised and scarred at the end of the day's shoot but just kept going!"

Hrithik's charms rub off on saasu maa

Leaves Silver screen's most dreaded mother-in-law teary eyed with his gentlemanly act during an awards function

When Hrithik Roshan turns on the charm not even the strictest of schoolmarms and saasu maas can resist!

At a recent awards event when he met television's strictest mother-in-law aka Kokilaben from Saath Nibhaana Saathiya he reduced the actress to a gushing woman when he went down on his knees to ask her to dance with him in front of a huge audience.

Hrithik Roshan takes everyone by surprise as he goes down on his knees
for Rupal Patel during an act at an awards functions in Macau.

Says a source, "Hrithik, who is one of the judges on the reality show Just Dance for the channel, charmed the leading ladies of television in Macau.

The surprise act was when he spontaneously went down on his knees while performing at the show.

"Everyone was shocked when Hrithik went down on his knees to propose to Kokilaben, (played by Rupal Patel) who plays the most dreaded saasu maa.

Rupal was red with embarrassment. Not just that, he gave her a jaadoo ki jhappi and that's when Rupal broke down in tears."

Sasu maa's reaction

Rupal Patel said that this would be the most cherished moment in her life.

She adds, "When Hrithik called out for me from stage, I initially looked around to make sure if it was me who he was asking for. I was shocked when he went down on his knees and requested me to join him.

He is a wonderful human being." However, there was a moment when Rupal was terrified.

"Hrithik is a fantastic dancer and I was worried how I would match steps with him but he made me very
comfortable and I loved dancing with India's best dancer.

I was absolutely honoured to share the stage with Hrithik. It will always be the most cherished moment of my life."

Hrithik’s guzaarish accepted

The star is happy with Supreme Court’s verdict on conditional euthanasia

Welcoming the Supreme Court verdict in favour of conditional passive euthanasia for terminally-ill patients, Hrithik Roshan, who played a paraplegic in director Sanjay Leela Bansali's ‘Guzaarish’, says that he can realize the pain of a patient who loses all mobility.

Hrithik says it's a good beginning and with time it would become easier for the society to accept it. "Any act that ends consistent suffering in any form must be condoned. Euthanasia must be allowed in cases that merit it," he said.

"This is a good beginning, in time as we evolve as a society, it will become easier to see reason in the concept of euthanasia as a boon for those who are suffering to a degree, which you and me cannot even imagine," Hrithik said.

The Supreme Court gave a sanction to passive euthanasia if the high court concerned approves it. The process involves withdrawal of life sustaining drugs and/or life support systems for patients who are brain dead or in a persistent vegetative state (PVS), after their relatives and doctors convey their approval to high court.
