Rango (voice of Depp) is an ordinary chameleon who accidentally winds up in the town of Dirt, a lawless outpost in the Wild West in desperate need of a new sheriff.
We love that Captain Jack and his original Pirates of the Caribbean director have created a new hero, one centered around Johnny Depp's first motion-capture performance. Furthermore, we smile every time we consider the fact that the film earned a PG rating in part because Dirt's residents tend to smoke and drink. We're advocates of Wild West realness.
