Winslet Reunites With Model Lover?

Kate Winslet has sparked rumours of a reconciliation with her model boyfriend Louis Dowler after they were spotted together over the weekend (28-29May11).

The Oscar-winning actress began dating the handsome hunk last year following her split from husband Sam Mendes, but they reportedly went their separate ways in November after just four months of dating.

However, Winslet and Dowler are now said to be back together after they were seen driving through Woodstock, New York on Sunday, according to the New York Post's Page Six column

Winslet strips for new Testino exhibit Share 0diggsdigg

The actress, who honoured her close pal with a lifetime achievement award in New York last week (26May11), is no stranger to posing nude for movies and photoshoots and admits she couldn't say no to Testino when he approached her to feature in upcoming art show, Todo o Nada.

She says, "You know that his biggest strength without fail is making women look beautiful. When Mario turns to you and says, 'It's beautiful, but I think it would work better naked, no?' How can one refuse?

"No matter what insecurities about oneself a subject may have, Mario makes them go away like a magician. One moment you are in the hair and make-up chair fully clothed and wishing you had smoother skin, longer legs and smaller feet and then Mario comes in and, in that charming way, he takes you by the hand and says, 'Don’t worry it’s going to be amazing.'"

And Testino is convinced he's able to win over his female subjects because they trust him to make the images look tasteful.

He adds, "I said to her, 'I want you to pose nude for this exhibition.' And she was like, 'Oh, OK, Mario.' She said yes right away. Most of them (celebrity friends), I think, trust me. I would never let them down."

Todo o Nada opens in Rome in July (11).

Nude Winslet Titanic Sketch To Sell At Auction

A nude drawing of Kate Winslet which featured in Titanic is expected to fetch as much as $16,000 (£10,000) at auction.

The illustration of Winslet reclining on a sofa and wearing nothing but a diamond necklace is sketched by Leonardo DiCaprio's artist character Jack Dawson in the 1997 epic film.

The movie's director James Cameron was actually responsible for the drawing, which features the initials of DiCaprio's character and the date April 14, 1912 - the day before the Titanic sank.

Cameron's artwork is expected to be the star lot at Premiere Props' memorabilia auction on Saturday and Sunday (02-03Apr11).

A spokesperson for the firm says, "This is a wonderful piece of memorabilia (from) one the biggest grossing films of all time."

Winslet Struggled With 'Tough' Break-up Scenes

Kate Winslet struggled to portray the breakdown of a relationship in new TV mini-series Mildred Pierce, because the scenes reminded her of splitting from husband Sam Mendes.

The Titanic star announced the end of her seven-year marriage to the American Beauty director last year.

She admits she found it hard to shoot emotional scenes in her upcoming U.S. TV drama, and often felt numb when she used her own heartbreak to help act out the part.

She tells Britain's Daily Express, "It was tough. There were moments like that one where I was using things from my own life in my performance. There were days when I'd almost feel comatose."

Kate Winslet Has A Face Of The Softest Velvet

Kate Winslet’s terrifying plastered face of peach fuzz attended the New York City Premiere of HBO mini-series Mildred Pierce. I wouldn’t have noticed these, as I don’t really stare at pictures of people who’ve tripped and fallen into buckets of white paint, in order to ascertain whether they’ve succumbed to some kind of Goldfinger-like poisoning (yes, I know that doesn’t happen in real life… must you take everything from me). However, I was just on Us Weekly, and they had a post called ‘Oops… Kate Winslet’s Face Over-Powdered at Premiere.’ And I was all, ‘Whaaat?’ Aside from a face made of the softest velvet, Winslet seems to have borrowed the little blonde mustache of Sienna Miller; for which the latter was roundly mocked on the red carpet for her and her sister’s fashion line, Twenty8Twelve. The paint in lieu of make-up and the little blonde mustache were so distracting I nearly didn’t notice her outfit. Is it 1994 again? Can we not?

DiCaprio & Winslet Are Top Movie Couple

Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet's doomed relationship in 1997 film Titanic has earned them the title of most romantic onscreen couple of all time.

More than 500,000 people were polled for the ABC TV and People magazine movie rundown, and the stars earned almost a quarter of the votes for their turn in James Cameron's epic.

The romance between Clark Gable and Vivien Leigh in 1939 classic Gone with the Wind was rated the second most romantic film pairing, while Richard Gere and Julia Roberts' unlikely coupling in Pretty Woman landed them third in the survey.

Casablanca couple Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall came fourth, while Spencer Tracey and Katharine Hepburn - who starred in nine films together - rounded out the top five.

Winslet Comforted By DiCaprio After Marriage Split

Kate Winslet has credited her longtime friend Leonardo DiCaprio with helping her through her split from husband Sam Mendes, calling the actor "my rock".

The Hollywood stars have been close ever since they starred in 1997 blockbuster Titanic together.

Winslet announced the end of her seven-year marriage to American Beauty director Mendes last year and admits she turned to her longtime friend as she struggled with her personal problems.

She tells Britain's Vogue magazine, "He knows me better than anyone else in the world. Lots of male friendships begin as a cheeky snog (kiss). Or a little undercurrent of flirtation. But Leo and I? No. He's my rock. I don't know what the f**k I would have done if I hadn't had him."

Kate Winslet Debuts Platinum Pixie Cut

Kate Winslet debuted her sassy, sophisticated new 'do on the April cover of British Vogue. The 35-year-old actress has finally ditched her trademark wavy caramel locks for a short, straight platinum blonde cut.
In addition to showing off her brave pixie cut, the single mom opens up about one of the perks of splitting up with her director husband, Sam Mendes. (The spouses of 7 years split in March 2010; they share a son, Joe, 7. Winslet also has a daughter, Mia, 10, from her first marriage.)

"Experiencing those moments of being alone... is a very weird flooring and exposing position to be in when you're just not used to it," she says
"But I've never been lonely," adds the star. "And with my kids...that remains the case. But to be in this place where I can say I really like this space. I really need to not have anyone around. It's a surprise to discover that I like being on my own
Since Winslet’s breakup with her model beau Louis Dowler (they stepped out together in late summer 2010) in November, the Academy Award winner has been flying solo

Winslet: 'I Am Happy Without A Man'

Kate Winslet has spoken for the first time about her split from Sam Mendes, calling her single status "empowering" and insisting she is not "lonely".

The Titanic star announced the end of her relationship with the filmmaker, her second husband, last March after nearly seven years of wedlock.

Winslet, who was linked to male model Louis Dowler after the separation, has now broken her silence about the breakdown of her marriage to Mendes, revealing she is embracing life as a single mum-of-two.

She tells Vogue magazine, "(It's an) empowering thing... Experiencing those moments of being alone... is a very, very weird flooring and exposing position to be in when you're just not used to it. And it's not just being in a relationship. It's also the fact that I grew up in a family full of people. I've never been lonely. And with (kids) Mia and Joe that remains the case.

"But to be in this place now where I can say I really like this space. I really need to not have anyone around. It's a surprise to discover that I like being on my own."

Winslet was previously married to Jim Threapleton, her daughter Mia's dad, but they divorced in 2001.

Winslet: 'I've never had plastic surgery

Oscar-winning actress Kate Winslet has explained that she will likely never have plastic surgery because she is generally satisfied with her body. In an interview with Glamour magazine, Winslet was questioned as to whether she has ever gone under the knife to fix any physical imperfections. "No, I have never tried any of that stuff," she said. "I don't have parts of my body that I hate or would like to trade for somebody else's or wish I could surgically adjust into some fantasy version of what they are."
