Pacific Rim movie which is one of the recently announced projects which had picked interest of fans seems to be moving forward since Pacific Rim movie had some of its storyline revealed. Director Guillermo del Toro who had been eying the project seems to have had decided to take up the responsibility of direction and with that these new updates have surfaced. Recently director was involved in talks of At the Mountains of Madness but not getting the green light from studio the project had come to a halt. So this new project might be a best place for director to move forward with his work. It has been said that this is going to be a movie which will have humans versus monsters kind of a scenario in it.
According to latest news coming from Pacific Rim movie the creators are planning for a more family friendly motion picture and the premise suggests that this will deal with some monstrous creatures making life on earth a disastrous experience for humans. So as news goes on the storyline will have two world featured in it. One is earth in latter part of 2012 where an alien creature emerges from Pacific ocean and attacks Japan. The other world which will be featured in movie plot is The Anteverse from where the creature comes. What happens in Japan does not remain an isolated incident since many coastal areas begin to get attacked by similar kind of giant creatures who comes through portal located in deep waters.
As for the protagonist of Pacific Rim movie it will have a military personnel named Raleigh Antrobus who is part of the Jaeger program which consists of training pilots to control giant machines. Raleigh is sent for a mission in Tokyo and story will revolve around his character. Rest of the characters in movie will include Mako Mori a native Japanese pilot with whom Raleigh is made to work with. Another character will be that of Felicity Kincaid who is journalist and also happens to be the former fiancee of late brother of protagonist. Thus fans better stay tuned in for more details about this project to know more about it.
