The Hollywood couple separated in 2010, but they are attempting to work out their issues and have remained friendly for the sake of six-year-old Coco.
The stars proved they are making an effort to maintain family life by whisking the youngster off to the Disney attraction in Orlando, Florida on Tuesday.
Arquette told fans about the trip by posting a picture of the trio posing happily outside the theme park's famous Cinderella's Castle, along with the caption, "Disney World really is the most Magical Place on Earth".
He later added pictures of himself enjoying the rides with his family and trying on various wacky costumes.
