Kate Winslet Has A Face Of The Softest Velvet

Kate Winslet’s terrifying plastered face of peach fuzz attended the New York City Premiere of HBO mini-series Mildred Pierce. I wouldn’t have noticed these, as I don’t really stare at pictures of people who’ve tripped and fallen into buckets of white paint, in order to ascertain whether they’ve succumbed to some kind of Goldfinger-like poisoning (yes, I know that doesn’t happen in real life… must you take everything from me). However, I was just on Us Weekly, and they had a post called ‘Oops… Kate Winslet’s Face Over-Powdered at Premiere.’ And I was all, ‘Whaaat?’ Aside from a face made of the softest velvet, Winslet seems to have borrowed the little blonde mustache of Sienna Miller; for which the latter was roundly mocked on the red carpet for her and her sister’s fashion line, Twenty8Twelve. The paint in lieu of make-up and the little blonde mustache were so distracting I nearly didn’t notice her outfit. Is it 1994 again? Can we not?
