Julianne Hough's Burlesque days are over -- she's ready to rock!
The 22-year-old triple threat is set to star opposite Tom Cruise in Rock of Ages; Hough confirmed the news on her Twitter account Thursday night.
"Thanks to everyone for all your good vibes and good luck wishes," she wrote. "It worked! I got Rock of Ages!"
Hough -- who's currently dating media mogul Ryan Seacrest -- will play Sherri, the small-town girl who captures the attention of heavy metal rocker Stacee Jaxx (Cruise, 48).
"Seriously you guys, I'm dying right now," Hough tweeted. "I'm so excited and can't wait for this journey of becoming Sherri! It all starts NOW!
