Looks like Jennifer Lopez's lyrics struck a little too close to home this past weekend because the singer burst into tears during her Saturday concert in Montville, Connecticut after singing a song about lost love. The song, One Love, paid tribute to three of J. Lo's most high-profiled relationships, which probably explains why she was overcome with such strong emotions. Throughout the song, pairs of dancers appeared on stage, dressed like Lopez with look-alikes of her past loves: Diddy, Ben Affleck, and Marc Anthony. The new single mom then spoke to the crowd, saying, "A little trip down memory lane, huh?" But it appeared to be a trip she wasn't exactly ready to take because she wiped her eyes repeatedly and then walked offstage after the song was finished.
So what exactly set off the waterworks? A source close to Lopez explained, "It was the Marc part of the montage which choked her up. She can't help but feel sad over the loss of a marriage that went on for so long. She's emotional about the whole thing still." The source went on to share that, "Part of her dislikes him so much. But another part still loves him in a way, he's the father of her children. It's confusing. She's going through a whole array of emotions right now." The couple publicly announced the end of their 7 year long marriage in July.
However, the American Idol judge may have a new, strong shoulder to cry on. The pop diva has been spotted dining and hanging out with the hunky Bradley Cooper over the last few months, which has drawn much speculation regarding their relationship status. If these two are officially an item, then I would consider it a huge upgrade for J.Lo!
